Resources & Information

Rose Park Management

Rose Park is unique in that it is managed both by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation and the National Park Service.

Keeping Rose Park Beautiful

Please treat the park as you would your own back yard and make sure you leave only your footprints. Please dispose of garbage in the receptacles, making sure to tie the bags and ensure that animals are not able to access them. Please ensure you clean up after your pets and dispose of pet waste.

There are 4 black containers distributed around the park which are maintained by FRP where green pet waste bags are available for public use. The 4 containers are located: (1) on the softball field side of P Street chain link fence near left field; (2) on the “Pick Up After Your Dog” sign in the playground area near the Flagpole at 26th and O Streets; (3) on the grey wooden fence near the Drumbeating Street playground; and (4) on the “Pick Up After Your Dog” sign on the south lawn of the park, near the path, across from where 27th Street, NW intersects with N Street, NW.
